Kids in the Garden: Diggin' Up Worms

The most fun thing about planting new flowers
is seeing all the wiggly worms uncovered when Daddy digs the holes.

Each one gets named:  Kevin, Bob, Wendell, George, Danny...

And then they are carefully placed back into the holes

So that they can do their work in the soil.

That's how you create life-long gardeners and care-takers of the earth!

Great to see kids in the garden. My little one loves the chance for exploration out in ours. Stopping by form Oregon Cottage's hop.
